Jill Ferreira

Jill is a land and food coordinator with the Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust, working to support many projects. She grew up in New Bedford and East Freetown, MA and has lived in Boston and Providence, RI. She studied Deaf Culture at Bristol CC, and Anthropology and Psychology at UMass Boston, has worked in childcare, eldercare, food supply chain, communications, and worker empowerment, all of which have served as education in her life. Jill is currently based in Roxbury where she serves on the board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Coops, the Steering Committee for COWOP, and as a chapter member of the Jericho Movement for political prisoners.
